Photos from Friday, six of the
seven Blue Tit eggs have clearly hatched.
 | |
| Food! | Broken egg shell to recycle |
 | |
| One egg unhatched | Two open mouths, one egg |
 | |
| Both parents squeezed into the box | Five open mouths, one closed beak |
 | |
| Food or a feather? | Six hungry mouths |
 | |
| Six hungry chicks competing | Six or seven chicks? |
I'm not sure if the last egg hatched or not - I've not seen a clear image of seven mouths but in a couple of shots like the last ones above, there could be a seventh chick which happened to have its beak closed? We shall see..
Using the
motion software, my
garden based Raspberry Pi is still recording tens of thousands of images a day recorded - not only does this cause trouble filling up the Raspberry Pi's SD card, browsing the folder for each day makes my desktop struggle with the thumbnail images!
